The Ikoyi Club Table Tennis Section boasts a rich history, evolving from its humble beginnings under a shed in the 1990s to the thriving social hub it is today. Rev. A.A. Efunkoya served as the first chairman in 1983, laying the foundation for future development.
A pivotal moment arrived in 1997 under the leadership of Chairman Mr. Tunji Ajani. The section's dedicated complex was finally completed, marking a significant step forward. This accomplishment was further celebrated with the commissioning by Mr. Akinbayo Adenubi, the then Chairman of Ikoyi Club 1938.
The vision continued with the addition of a well-equipped gymnasium in 2007, spearheaded by Alhaji F. Ola Azeez's Committee and commissioned by the Committee of Mr. Olawale Onaolapo. This expansion reflects the section's commitment to providing a well-rounded space for fitness and leisure.
